Child and Youth Responder - Fort McMurray
Under the supervision of the Mental Health and Wellness Outreach Supervisor, the Child and Youth Responder will be responsible in delivering immediate mental health and wellness outreach response to our children and youth in crisis. The Child and Youth Responder will provide assessment of children and youth in crisis. The worker will conduct risk and safety assessments specific to mental health, conduct mental check-ins, offer support, and assist in developing after-care plans for members. The Child and Youth Responder will also be a part of a collaborative team that will work closely with other community and external programs and resources to offer an integrated support model of services to our members. Will support a progressive team in delivering prevention interventions, programs and resources to our children, youth and families.
Director, Employment & Training
The Director of Employment and Training is responsible for developing partnerships to create training and work experience projects that lead to employment for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit. These partnerships will help clients and members gain the necessary skills and work experience to obtain and maintain long-term employment. The objectives of ATC’s Employment and Training Department are to:
Support First Nations, Métis, and Inuit clients and members in obtaining and maintaining long- term, sustainable employment.
Create workplace training opportunities in occupations that are in demand in the labour market.
Support the development of partnerships between First Nations, industry, educational institutions, and government.
Director, Child and Family Services
The Director of CFS is responsible for the overall management of Child and Family Services, including Family Enhancement, Intervention Services, and Kinship/Foster Care to ATC’s affiliated First Nation’s communities. This role involves financial management, providing expert advice, and ensuring the delivery of quality services in line with new legislation and a family-centered approach.

Under the supervision of the Mental Health and Wellness Outreach Supervisor, the Elders Support Responder will be responsible in delivering immediate mental health and wellness outreach response to Elders in crisis. The ESR will conduct risk and safety assessments specific to mental health, conduct mental check-ins, offer support, and assist in developing after-care plans for members in alignment with community cultural practices. The Elders Support Responder will also be a part of a collaborative team that will work closely with other community and external programs and resources to offer an integrated support model of services to our members. Will support a progressive team in delivering prevention interventions, programs and resources to Elders, children, youth and families.
Mental Health Cultural Liaison - Fort Chipewyan
Under the supervision of the Mental Health and Wellness Outreach team Supervisor, the Mental Health Cultural Liaison Worker (MHCL) will be responsible in delivering immediate mental health, wellness, and culturally appropriate outreach responses to our nation members in crisis. The worker will conduct risk and safety assessments specific to mental health, conduct mental check-ins, offer support and assist in developing after-care plans for members accessing services. Will support a progressive team in delivering short term culturally appropriate prevention interventions, programs, and resources to our children, youth and families while developing community capacity and community champions to support the work.
Mental Health Response Intake Coordinator - Fort Chipewyan
Under the supervision of the Mental Health and Wellness Outreach Supervisor, the Mental Health Response Intake Coordinator (MHRIC) will be responsible in receiving intake calls and coordinating team responder(s) as needed to deliver immediate mental health and wellness outreach response to our nation members in crisis. The MHRIC will also be a part of a collaborative team that will work closely with other community and outside programs and resources to offer an integrated support model of services to our service users. Will support a progressive team in delivering short term prevention, interventions, programs and resources to our children, youth, and families.
